Called in for an Investigatory Meeting with a Supervisor?
Time is of the essence if you want a Grievance Representative for your Meeting. You will need to reach out to them directly in order to expedite the representation process.
.If you have been called in for a meeting with an InFlight Supervisor regarding either a known or an unknown issue, and you are a non probationary flight attendant, you have the right to union representation at the meeting. AFA Compass Grievance Representatives are active flight attendants that volunteer for the AFA Compass grievance committee. If one is available, they can participate in person or over the phone. Please do not wait until the last minute. All to often AFA Compass Grievance Committee Representatives receive requests just before meetings are about to occur. The sooner you request representation, the greater the chance a grievance representative will be available.
Remember, all AFA Compass Grievance Representatives are volunteers who fly the line for a living. Because grievance representatives often participate over the phone, you do not have to restrict yourself to someone that is based in your domicile.
