As an AFA-CWA member, you can be an important advocate for our profession, helping to bring about the positive changes for flight attendants that characterize the collective work of our union.
We now have over 82% of the entire seniority list as Compass AFA members. Our new goal is to reach 100% membership at Compass. This will ensure a true representation of the Compass flight attendants at negotiations.

AFA Dues
Q: Do we pay dues as soon as we become members?
A: NO
Q: Are dues retroactive?
A: NO
Q: When do we start to pay dues?
A: ONLY after our first contract has been approved by the flight attendants
AFA Active Membership
Q: Why become an active member?
A: All Compass flight attendants will pay dues when our first contract is voted in. However, only active members can:
1) have a say in what goes into the contract negotiations
2) are eligible to vote in officer elections
3) are eligible to vote in their contract

Compass AFA Is Your Union - Become Involved
We need your help. Membership Coordinators are being sought to join our mobilization team for our membership drive. We are looking for people who:
* are comfortable talking to other flight attendants about the benefits of being an active AFA member;
* can communicate regularly via email and telephone
* able to respond quickly to tasks sent out by officers
